About me
I was born in Charleston, W.V., USA in 1951. We moved to Norfolk, Va. during the height of the "Cold War" and there, I finished school.
I became very interested in the Bible in 1963 and have endeavored since then to know the scripture through both private and formal study. I also love world history. In 1971, I graduated from FREED-HAREMANN college and accompanied some of our missionaries in carrying bibles into the satellite countries of the Soviet Union and one trip to Russia, itself. In visiting European countries, I was impressed at how countries of the past had tried to corruptly control people's minds in the guise of religion and that secular rule often continued the misery but gave religion a bad reputation. The way people of power had misused religion stirred a contempt in my soul for the misuse.
Later, in searching the genealogy of my family, I traced the Osborne's back to very early Britain and that gave me the seed material for this novel. I hope you enjoy it.
Inspiration and Research
My inspiration to write historical fiction, particularly about the Tudor period, stems from tracing my direct lineage to a figure within the Tudor court. Ensuring historical accuracy involves rigorous research. Genealogical information primarily comes from Ancestry.com. Historical facts are sourced from the official parliamentary history about Peter Osborne and records of individuals within his circle. I also consult books by members of the Masonic society and other external sources to provide a comprehensive backdrop to my novels.

Through my stories, I hope readers gain the courage to challenge what they believe to be true and to stand for truths, both comfortable and uncomfortable. My goal is to encourage questioning and critical thinking in the face of historical narratives.
